  1. If you can't get by on 4 hours sleep a night you've chosen the wrong job

  2. You may be constantly surrounded by food but you are still likely to forget to feed the kids

  3. It is not obligatory to try every item first

  4. It is obligatory to sign up for a slimming plan as you won't be able to stick to point 3

  5. It is essential to have a partner who is happy to tidy up after you - creativity does not necessarily go hand in hand with a clean house.

  6. A timer is essential - working to 8 minute intervals can not be guessed

  7. A timer is essential - distraction comes in many forms

  8. You will always have misplaced at least 1 spatula

  9. You will always have misplaced at least 1 child

  10. Despite your customers loving your breads, your kids will always insist on shop bought for packed lunches

  11. You will always be amazed at how the same ingredients, prepared in exactly the same way, baked for exactly the same amount of time will never look the same two times in a row.
